Do you want to join the fight for climate justice with the world’s largest independent environmental organization?
Greenpeace has several incredible volunteer internships available in San Francisco! You’ll get the chance to work on the most pressing issues of our time – saving ancient rainforests, protecting our oceans, stopping toxic threats, and launching a clean energy revolution.
Over the last 3 years, Greenpeace has built a nationwide Activist Network to tackle the toughest problems facing our climate, oceans, forests, and communities. The Activist Network activates thousands of Greenpeace supporters, and our interns are at the heart of this cutting-edge remote grassroots organizing program.
The Activist Network interns primarily help us connect with our Lead Activists over the phone, email and online social networks to assist them with all of their campaign work in hundreds of communities nationwide. They also help our Activist Network team in San Francisco with all other priorities that arise.

Hi there,
I’m working on a campaign to bring The Green Initiative Fund to San Francisco State University (SFSU). We would be grateful if you would please add our branch to the CSSC’s TGIF website to encourage other CSUs to join in and keep students informed of our progress. We hope to be emailing you again soon to have our status changed from “campaign in progress” to “successful campaigns”!
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Yael Ofer.
