Partners

We partner with organizations to create symbiotic relationships that further our respective goals.

Earth Island Institute

The Earth Island Institute is the fiscal sponsor of CSSC, giving us the financial support needed to maintain our 501(c)(3) non-profit status.  Their Project Support program acts as an incubator for start-up environmental projects, giving crucial assistance to groups and individuals with new ideas for promoting ecological sustainability. Since their founding, we have provided fiscal sponsorship to more than 100 projects around the globe.

Energy Action Coalition

We are a member of the Energy Action Coalition which unites a diversity of organizations in an alliance that supports and strengthens the student and youth clean and just energy movement in North America. The 36 active and 14 supporting partners of Energy Action Coalition work together to leverage  collective power and create change for a clean, efficient, just and renewable energy future.

Real Food Challenge

The Real Food Challenge serves as both a campaign and a network. The campaign is to increase the procurement of real food on college and university campuses, with the national goal of 20% real food by 2020. By leveraging their purchasing power we can catalyze the transformation of the larger food system. The network offers a chance for students and their allies (those working on the campaign along with those who’ve yet to sign on) to make connections, learn from one another, and grow the movement.
