About Me
I’m a multi-racial politically engaged environmentalist who grew up in San Francisco; the cliché of clichés. I go to City College of San Francisco and I envision California’s community college system as the catalyst for the creation of green jobs and the primary introduction into sustainability for students of all backgrounds.
How I Got Involved In CSSC
After becoming my chapter’s President last July I went to my first leadership retreat that August. It was one of my most transformative experiences because the CSSC provided me an amazing opportunity to join a community of like-minded souls! I had found a group of talented and passionate students dedicated to solving the same issues that I was focused on.
The Area of Sustainability That Interests Me Most
Environmental Policy and ECOnomics
The Role of Student Action in Sustainability
Students are the engine that powers the sustainability movement. We have the greatest to gain and the most to lose depending on how much energy we put into changing the current system. It will be our collective pool of skills and unique talents that will positively transform our communities from the ground up.
