Event: Fall Convergence 2010

Hosted locally by the Environmental Affairs Board, University of California at Santa Barbara, October 15 to 17. Join hundreds of students from across CA to build community, share resources, plan action, attend workshops, and celebrate.

Students from UC’s, CSUs, Community Colleges, Private Universities and high schools are encouraged to attend. We also invite community members and others to attend. Attendees will find opportunities to hear inspiring speakers, exchange ideas in workshops, and to celebrate our collective successes.

Register Now for CSSC’s Fall Convergence

The theme of this fall’s Convergence is Clean Energy. This weekend at UCSB will provide vital education and debate on Clean Energy issues at stake in the November 2 election, including discussion on Proposition 23. The Convergence itself takes no position on Proposition 23, and has invited representatives from both sides to discuss the issue. Students can then make their own decision and learn to engage their communities on this issue and decide how best to keep California a leader in Clean Energy.

  • Registration is only $20 for students
  • provides 4 vegan/organic/local meals
  • Limited Camping spots within several miles of Campus available!
