    Hello!
My name is Miranda and I’m the youth outreach coordinator for the UCSB Community Affairs Board. We’re an organization focused on creating a hub for volunteers involved in any kind of project in our community. My job revolves around getting in touch with the youth members in our community. I would love to set up an event where one of your representatives can come out to one of our local schools to get the kids (k-12) more involved and aware of the opportunities you have to offer. If you need man-power to make this happen, don’t fret, we have eager volunteers ready to help.

Please let me know what you think.

    Best,

    Hi Andrew,
I am interested in connecting with your CSSC chapter for a speaking event. I operate a business that presents progressive issues to people who identity as conservative or moderate. Veterans are able to bridge the gap between political party lines and bring value to energy and environmental issues. We have been very effective at conveying the importance of energy reform as necessary for economic success as well as national security. If you are interested in bringing a veteran to your campus please get in touch.

    Thanks,
    Matt Victoriano

    Hi Andrew,

I want to share with you this awesome opportunity. If you submit an idea for a project that shares or lends (e.g. bike share, carpool program, textbook exchange –anything that promotes conservation!) then you could win $1,000 from GOOD Magazine to implement. Submissions close this Thursday at noon PST, but it only takes a few minutes to submit an idea. There are only 18 submissions so far, so there is a good chance you could win. Please spread this information to your student sustainability network! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Submit your idea here: http://sharing.maker.good.is/

    Cheers,

    Hana
