About Me
I am a San Francisco native. I became involved with the environmental justice movement my senior year of high school and continue to be in my community. Although I am currently undeclared, I find that there are various issues in communication regarding mainstream enviromentalism and the environmental justice movemement. I plan on majoring in communications studies in order to improve the communications between EJ advocates and mainstream environmentalist while at the same time uniting the two movements. In my spare time I love to bike around the Richmond Marina, bake vegan desserts and obsess over kittens.
How I Got Involved In CSSC
This is amazing organization that empowers students by building leadership skills and networks with other students all across California who believe that sustainability is for all and that it is possible for higher education institution to become more sustainale. Who wouldn’t want to join?!

The Role of Student Action in Sustainability
The college campus is the perfect environment to not only study our changing world, but to develop systems that promote responsible use of resources and help build healthy, resilient communities. And through outreach and service-learning we can accomplish this in a way that will help others advance towards a more sustainable future.
