The Dangers of Bottled Water: We have been led to believe that tap water isn’t “safe” or “clean,” not true considering municipal water is held to a stringent standard and is tested multiple times a day. We have been convinced that bottled water is “authentic” or “from the spring” and pay the 96% markup on each bottle. Bottled water is a $11.7 billion industry that has been built on misinformation. Our video addresses this misinformation, highlighting the health, environmental, and economic impact that bottled water has had on our society. With the information, consumers can make a more informed and responsible decision when it comes to their hydration.
